Clennell Hall Folk Festival 2012
Clennell Hall Folk Festival will remain true to its roots, and aim to be 'The Friendly Festival' and a Festival for Friends. We will strive to ensure that it remains affordable to all, while delivering true value for the ticket price! If you are bringing a large group (10 or more) please phone me for special group discounts! 2011 will see a few minor changes; we will have a 'Hiring Fair & Showcase Session' for new acts & performers, and we will also be introducing a 'Parody & Silly Song Session', Just for Fun!

Clennell Hall Folk Festival 2011
Clennell Hall Folk Festival 2011 was somehow, yet again, even better than the year before! For the last five years each May, it has been my pleasure to organise and host this event, and as both 'acts' and 'attendees' know, it has became a GREAT Festival of Friends.
My Overview:
Everyone I spoke with, (and that was, I think, Everyone!) Had nothing but positive things to say about the whole experience, and all agree this really is a festival of friends, a festival for friends. We will never be the biggest, but we continue to claim we are the friendliest! I will say first of here, THANK YOU to EVERYONE! This includes in equal measure all singers & acts, and all of the wonderful audience, EVERYONE was great, and played their own parts in making it a GREAT weekend. New friends Foolsgold, Jesica Lamb, JD & The Longfellows, and Stringbag were excellent, and I lookforward to seeing them all again in 2012. Hopefully Kimber's Men, Pierre Vincent, and JD & The Longfellows will all be available next year once again! I don't have any idea what really makes this Fest work, I only know that it does, and suspect that without the friendship & good will of everyone who attends, it wouldn't work at all. So Thank YOU and well done!
